While Weber as a methodologist of value-free science would profess to have no argument agaisnt a political intellectual who had "demonically" settled on Marxism as the "value" of his preference, he could balndly engage in a study of Protestant ethics and shwo that certain religious convictions rather than the class sturggle palyed an important role in the foramtion of capitalism.

bland 

1. 강한 맛이 없고, 그래서 먹을 맛이 나지 않는 
not having a strong taste and therefore not very interesting to eat

2. 흥미롭거나, 흥분되거나, 독창적이거나 하지 않아서, 지루한. 


not interesting, exciting, or original, and therefore boring
She had pleasant but rather bland features.

bland comments or remarks are pleasant and intended not to make anyone upset or angry, but they may not be sincere
He gave the usual bland assurances about their commitment to peace.
