An atrocity crime is a violation of international criminal law that falls under the historically three legally defined international crimes of genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity.

 

 

유엔에서 규정한 4가지 잔혹 범죄.

1) 집단 학살 (Genocide). 민족, 인종, 종교 집단을 살해하는 것.

2) 반인륜적 범죄 (Crimes against humanity). 민간인에 대한 대량 학살. 살해, 강간, 투옥, 실종, 노예화, 섹스 노예, 고문, 분리, 추방 등.

3) 전쟁 범죄 (war crimes). 제네바 협정 파기. 정규군에 어린이 포함. 전쟁 포로 살해와 고문. 병원, 역사적 유물 파괴. 종교, 교육, 예술, 과학을 위한 건물 파괴.

4) 침략  범죄(Aggression) 무력을 사용해 한 국가가 다른 국가의 주권과 독립을 훼손하는 경우.
