이란은 '기뢰'를 설치하지 않았다, 미국은 기뢰부설함을 폭파시켰다고 발표. 두 진영이 호르무즈 해협에서 '국제 여론전'을 펼치고 있다. 진실은 뭔지 불투명하지만, 이란이 '해상 드론'인 무인보트(USV)를 사용해 유조선을 타격한 것은 사실이다.
(1) 한국행과 연관된 유조선의 경우, 한국정부는 미국의 이란 제재에 울며겨자먹기로 동참하고 있는 상황이기 때문에, 한국은 이란의 '안전통행' 국가들에 포함되지 않는다.
(2) 현재 호르무즈 해협에는 유조선 관련 노동자들이 2만명 묶여 있다. 이들의 안전에 신경을 써야 할 때이다.

1) 이란 입장 발표. 호르무즈 해협에 기뢰 설치하지 않았다.
2) 미국-이스라엘 협조국가에는 '안전 운행' 보장 않겠다. 선별적으로 통행 허용하겠다는 의미.
실제 친-이란 국가들, 중국이나 러시아 등 이란에 우호적이거나 중립적인 국적의 유조선에는 공격하지 않음.
그러나 현재 유조선들의 자유로운 왕래는 없는 상태임.
3) 이란이 호르무즈 해협을 봉쇄하는 이유는, 미국과 이스라엘과의 '휴전,정전 ceasefire'가 아닌, 완전한 종전(end of war)을 보장받기 위함이다.그리고 미국과 이스라엘로부터, 폭격 피해에 대한 물질적 보상을 요구하기 위해서이다.
4) 단기적으로는 호르무즈 해협을 봉쇄해서, 국제 유가의 상승을 이끌어, 트럼프에게 직접적인 압박을 가하기 위해서임. 이란은 배럴당 150~200달러까지 원유가격이 인상될 때까지 봉쇄할 계획을 발표한 상태.
Deputy foreign minister Majid Takht-Ravanchi has denied Iran is laying mines in the Strait of Hormuz, days after the US said it had struck vessels equipped to do so operating close to the shipping channel.
"Some countries have already talked to us about passing the Strait and we have cooperated with them," Takht-Ravanchi tells AFP news agency.
But countries which "joined the aggression" against Iran "should not benefit from safe passage", he adds, saying the regime wants to ensure war can't be "imposed" on it again.
He continues: "When the war started last June, after 12 days there was so called cessation of hostilities... but after eight or nine months, they regrouped and they did it again."

Iran has allowed ships from some countries to cross the Strait of Hormuz, deputy foreign minister Majid Takht-Ravanchi says, denying the Islamic Republic is laying mines there as the waterway remains effectively closed during the war with the US and Israel.
“Some countries have already talked to us about passing the strait and we have cooperated with them,” says Takht-Ravanchi during an interview with AFP in Tehran.
“As far as Iran is concerned, we feel that those countries that joined the aggression should not benefit from safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz,” he says.
Takht-Ravanchi adds that Iran is not laying mines in the strait, after US President Donald Trump said US forces had struck 28 Iranian minelaying vessels in the waterway.
“Not at all. This is not true,” he says when asked about reports of Iran laying mines in the strategic waterway.
He also says Iran wants to ensure that a war will not be imposed on it again in the future.
“We want to see that war is not going to be imposed again on Iran,” says Takht-Ravanchi. “When the war started last June, after 12 days there was so-called cessation of hostilities… but after eight or nine months, they regrouped and they did it again.”
